Student Chef Oyandrila Das Sharma wins “HELLO KOLKATA FOOD FEST”

 

Talented student chef Oyandrila Das Sharma has shone brightly in the just-concluded HELLO KOLKATA FOOD FEST.

Two of her dishes (Sweet Carrot and Paneer Salad) were declared as Most Outstanding Dishes by the Jury Panelists during the Food Fest held at Bangur Kolokakuli on 29 Oct. morning.

Organizing spokesperson Asish Basak, Editor-Director of HELLO KOLKATA, remarked that Oyandrila had got extra marks for the fact that both her dishes promote Health Consciousness, apart from excelling in the usual parameters of taste, look and ingredients.

Oyandrila Das Sharma is a multi-talented girl who has keen interest in cooking since her early childhood days. She is gradually becoming an expert chef while nurturing her passion over the years.

Now she is a student of B.Sc. (Culinary Science) from NSHM KNOWLEDGE CAMPUS.

   Her culinary journey started since she was 13 years.
     As  Oyandrila joined college, she took part in various exhibitions and contests, winning accolades across city and state.
     Recently she won Silver Medal in the world class South Asia International Culinary Festival, organized by Royal Bengal Master Chef Organization.
         For her all-round abilities, during the Durga Pujas, Oyandrila was also selected as a JURY PANELIST OF Hello Kolkata Puja Parikrama.
      On 29th Oct., student chef Oyandrila Das Sharma was declared as the WINNER of HELLO KOLKATA FESTIVE FIESTA 2023, held at Bangur Mukta Mancha.
     A host of dignitaries, including poet Rupa Chowdhury, Spanish linguist Lopamudra Sarkar, Master Chef Lawrence Gomes (virtually from Mumbai) and social influencer Asish Basak presented Oyandrila Das Sharma the Winner’s Certificate and Memento on behalf of HELLO KOLKATA FOOD FEST.
    The colourful event was organized by HELLO KOLKATA (3D News, Events & Films), supported by LIONS Club Of Magnates and Rotary Club Of Kasba.
