Yesterday, acting on a source information, a raid was carried out at the house of one Sanjit Biswas S/O Rabi Biswas of Birohi Haldarpara, PS-Haringhata, Nadia where huge quantity of Psychotropic drugs, in the form of 368 Bottle of Codiene Phosphate (phensedyl) of 100 ml each were confiscated .Along with that about Pyeevon Capsule 170 pcs, Tensiwin Tablet 80 pcs were also confiscated by the proficient officers of Ranaghat PD.
After completion of due process, the accused namely Sanjit Biswas was arrested, appropriate legal action was initiated by concerned PS under relevant sections of NDPS Act.
Under the well versed leadership of SP RANAGHAT,the officers of Ranaghat PD has been doing remarkable jobs to curb prohibited works & antisocial activities round the clock.
