‘Decoart Collections’ – a house of typical Indian style dresses

‘Decoart Collections’ is the house of typical Indian style Batik, Kantha Stitch, Bandhni (Tie and Dye), Shadow-works, Aplique-works and Glass-works etc., besides intricate Stitch-works.
Saris, Kurtis, Punjabis, and other dress materials for both ladies and gents, furnishing and utility items, studded with all these hand-crafted works are available with ‘Deco Art Collections’.

All these craft works blended with typical ‘Santiniketan’ style art forms both in design as well as in materials used. Apart from these, Japanese traditional ‘Shibori’, artistic themes from ‘Jaipur’ are some additional essences that have been incorporated in the making, designing, shaping and treating of these dress materials.

‘Decoart Collections’ is owned by Shatarupa Chowdhury Paul, daughter of Mrs. Tapati Paul who is the Founder-Director of ‘Decoart Collections’ and has 20 years of experience in this field. Collections of so many hand-crafted dress materials with superior art forms will be on display which are the result of and dedicated efforts by Tapati Paul holding diploma in art and craft from ‘Tagore Society’. Her daughter Shatarupa Chowdhury Paul worked as a social worker and is an artist. Their unflinching devotion, diversified interests, in-exhaustive passion, and perseverance are the main workforce to pile up such a mammoth ‘Art Collections’.

Currently, both of them are training the SHG group women who are attached to ‘Decoart Collections’. Thus, at present, many people depend on ‘Decoart Collections’.

The journey of ‘Decoart Collections’ started with people’s love and devotions and their passion about hard-work, and in near future we have plans for expansion.
All their products are handcrafted with fine finishing.

‘Decoart Collections’ has organized an exhibition, to be held on 10th and 11th August, 2024.
The two days exhibition of ‘Decoart Collections’ will be held at Arihant Garden, Kalaberia Rajarhat main road, WB- 700135.

The exhibition will be inaugurated by Smt. Rupapparna Bhatacharya who is a celebrity culinary expert and is the daughter of Kitchen Queen of West Bengal Smt. Sukla Mukhopadhyay.

The programme will have special guests Mrs Shilpa Mukherjee, Founder of ‘Nrityagatha’ – a voluntary organization and Mr. Indranil Mukherjee, Co-Founder of Nrityagatha.
