BASANTA UTSAV by Paschim Bang Pradeshik Marwari Sammelan

A host of dignitaries from various walks of the society graced the Basant Milan Utsav, held on 31 March at Nika Banquet in Kolkata, organized by Paschim Bang Pradeshik Marwari Sammelan.
Addressing the audience, Chief Guest Mr. Vivek Gupta said that more than 80 lakh members of Marwari community living in Bengal have contributed significantly to the economic, social and religious progress of Bengal. He said that Bengal is progressing a lot because of Marwaris. It is not the land of birth but the land of work and life.
Well-known social worker Mr. Ramprasad Ji Saraf on this occasion inaugurating another new “Kolkata Metropolitan Branch” of Regional Marwari Conference inspired the society and play a leading role.

Eminent Advocate Mr. Ashok Ji Dhandhaniya assured cooperation in resolving the increasing cases of separation and divorce and pending legal cases.

Renowned astrologer Acharya Shri Rakesh Pandey, in his blessing, resolved to celebrate the upcoming Hindu New Year in an organized way, following the traditions of the Sanatan Hindu religion, its heritage, its identity, and the community.
Famous social worker Basant Ji Sethia, Ratanlal Agarwal, Bimal Kumar Birla, Manmohan Garodia, Laxman Agarwal and Damodar Bidawat were present in the dais of this prestigious program.
The program was presided over by Shri Bhagwati Prasad Bajoria Regional President and conducted by Shri Kisan Kila, Regional General Secretary.
Treasurer Mr. Pankaj Kedia in his address in Marwari language outlined the upcoming projects.
Kusum Modi, Vandana Fitkariwal, Shambhu Modi, Chandrasekhar Fitkariwal, Shashi Poddar Lalit Sharma, Vikas Aggarwal, Ravi Sureka, Mohan Rungta, Omprakash Kejriwal, Rajkumar Gupta, Mukesh Jindal Omprakash Goyal, Loonkaransar Sharma, Tikam Changai Wal, Prakash Kila Shailesh Bagdi, Sanjay Sureka Devki Sureka, Sudesh Poddar Sri Sitaram Agarwal, Pawan Saraf Purushottam Saraf, Surendra Agarwal, Govind Ratasuriya and others all were present to make the event a grand success.
Members of Howrah, Bankura and Purulia branches of Paschim Bang Pradeshik Marwari Sammelan showed great enthusiasm during the program.
