“ALS Kolkata Literary Meet 2023” was supported by LIONS CLUB OF KOLKATA MAGNATES and HELLO KOLKATA (3D News-Media, PR, Events and Films).
The prestigious Meet was held on 15 Dec. eve at LIONS DEN, Kolkata. The program was presented by ASIAN LITERARY SOCIETY.
Dr. Sujata Chatterjee, eminent poet and ex-Director of LIONS MAGNATES, was the Chief Organizer of this mega endeavour. Inauguration of the event took place through auspicious lighting of lamp by the Guests of Honour Dr. Bishakha Sarma, Sarbasish Kumar Paul and choreographer Indrani Ganguly.
There was an interactive Panel Discussion on the interesting topic:- “Poetry or Narratives: What Genre popularly mirrors the Society”.
The erudite Panelists included Dr. Nishi Pulgurtha, Prof. Krishna Roy and Dr. Aneek Chatterjee. The Moderator was Dr. Bishakha Sarma.
The audience were treated to an absorbing session of Recitation by talented poets like Dr. Sujata Chatterjee, Reetwika Banerjee, Sreemati Sen, Jayasree Bhattacharya, Soumen Roy, Sreeparna Sen and Jaya Saha.
Mohua Mukherjee anchored the show, which was graced by several eminent personalities like Dr. Prasenjit Chatterjee, LIONS Parimal Malakar & Jayanta Chowdhury, Rtn. Advocate Chandrani Bhattacharya, Sanjay Chakraborty and others.
Dr. Sujata Chatterjee was also inducted as a senior ADVISOR (Board Member) of INTERNATIONAL LITERARY FOUNDATION and was felicitated by social influencer Asish Basak, Editor-Director of HELLO KOLKATA.
