Prayer for Peace, Justice, and Harmony held at Pragyan Bhavan, Kolkata

On September 17, 2024, a heartfelt gathering was held at Pragyan Bhavan, Kolkata, to honor the memory of a lady doctor who tragically lost her life under distressing circumstances. Organized by Divine Bliss Foundation, the event saw people from all walks of life come together to mourn her loss and pray for peace, justice, and healing.

The program began with a moment of silence for the doctor, followed by prayers for her family and loved ones. Attendees also came together to pledge their commitment to justice and to improving conditions for women in society. They prayed for peace and harmony to prevail throughout Kolkata, the City of Joy.

The event was followed by 7-Step Ananda Dhara Meditation, led by Dr. Suresh Kumar Agarwal, Director of the International Institute of Lifestyle Medicine. The meditation aimed to bring peace to the participants and help them reflect on the need for unity and healing in these challenging times. Dr. Agarwal’s guidance provided comfort as the group focused on finding inner calm and strength.

Participants of the program took part wholeheartedly in both the prayer and meditation session. Among the participants Basu Deo Agarwal, Dr. Namita Chakraborty, Dr. Sahidul Islam, Anita Saha, Chandra Chatherjee, Pramod Gupta, Ashis Basak, Sangita Das, Lipika Lunia, Ratna Sen and many others were present.
