Noted social influencer Sri Soumen Koley has won special appreciation for his great work over the years. Several high profile organizations and dignitaries had applauded the great work of eminent social entrepreneur Sri Soumen Koley, Secretary of “Tapsil Jati Adibasi Praktan Sainik Krishi Bikash Shilpa Kendra”.
The achievements were highlighted during a Social Welfare Seminar on ‘Livelihood Initiatives for the Poor’, organized by ‘Tapsil Jati Adibasi Praktan Sainik Krishi Bikash Shilpa Kendra’, on 5th July eve at LIONS DEN, Kolkata.
Sri Soumen Koley, Hon. Secretary, TJAPSKBSK elaborated on the existing programs as TJAPSKBS is trying to reach out to every corner of West Bengal, East & North East India for social development.
About 10,000 working members of TJAPSKBSK have been working continuously in 204 blocks of 18 districts of West Bengal with sincerity to materialize several people-connect projects of State and Central Government in various parts of West Bengal, like “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao”, “Swacch Bharat Abhiyan”, Nirmal Bangla Abhiyan”, “Kanyashree Prakalpa” ‘Yuvashree”, etc.

The much awaited result, favourable for the workers of the organization has been realized. About ten thousand (10000) employees associated with the organization for a long time, despite being subjected to various adversities, have kept themselves engaged with the organization and have brought the organization to where it is today and are also building the future. The Secretary of the organization, Mr. Soumen Kole, had done wonders to enable this project. From March 2024, at least some people have started getting the benefits, and the speed has increased step by step. Almost everyone who is actively associated with the organization will come under this facility within September, the processing of which has also started. This is possible due to the combined efforts of the office bearers and organizers. The organization has been recognized as an approved organization by the Tribal Affairs Department of the Government of India on 23 August, 2023. In the training conducted on Fishery by NSDC from April 22 to May 17 and from June 3 to June 28, several employees of the organization completed this training in the second phase. Apart from this training, several other trainings like Agriculture, Fishery, Lac Cultivation, Horticulture, Bee Farming, Goatary, Dairy, Poultry, Herbal, Q.C.I, N.I.S.E, Mass Communication, I.T, Computer, Coconut Board, Cold Chain etc. which will start soon. The notable social welfare initiatives and revenue generating activities carried out by the organization are Composite Agriculture Farming, Lac Cultivation, Animal Husbandry, Goatary, Fishery, Bee Farming, Medicinal Plant Cultivation, Poultry Farming, Kadaknath Farming, Skill Training Program, Horticulture, Vermi-Compost, etc., informed Soumen Koley, Secretary of ‘Tapsil Jati Adibasi Praktan Sainik Krishi Bikash Shilpa Kendra’.
