On 16th June, 2024, The Literoma Tagore Fest took place at Upasana Griha, Newtown.
The event was inaugurated by renowned music director Nilayan Chatterjee, RJ Aritra from FriendsFM, actor Kolaj Sengupta and Reetwika Banerjee, honorary program director of Literoma.
In the event, books authored by Literoma writers were launched and discussed along with the latest issue of Literoma’s in-house magazine Culture Flash.
During the morning session, Nilayan’s melodious voice mesmerized the audience.
Literoma Tagore Honour felicitations were done in four categories. As a CSR initiative, dried and grafted mango seeds were donated to the NGOs supported by Literoma and Public Safety & Security Council Bengal in presence of the founders.
Popular actor Mr. Shoumo Banerjee and legendary voice artist Mr. Soumitra Basu were present in the afternoon session to launch the book cover of ‘Aloukik’, a collectible print anthology of Literoma stories aired on BigFM since 2020.
Shoumo was a part of a talk-show on the theme ‘Tagore and Romance’. It was followed by felicitations of selected authors from the ‘Literoma Tagore & Romance Compendium 2024’.
The entire event was ably anchored by Reetwika Banerjee and FHCC’s Founder Tamal Mukherjee, in the presence of Literoma’s Chief Patron Subrata Bandyopadhyay and keystone member Aparna Banerjee.
