To beat the heat, a historical “Jalsatra”, run by Tarapeeth Tapaban, was organized at Sithir More on 11 May.
About 10,000 pedestrians, bus & car travellers were presented with mango shake and water bottles by volunteers of Tarapeeth Tapaban.
The distribution camp was well managed by Shubham Shaw (Chief of Youth section).
Acclaimed astrologer and social worker Guruji Shri Binay Maharaj, Founder of Tarapeeth Tapaban, said that everyone should buy and distribute water and do this sort of activity to give relief to others from the heat.
Mother of Guruji Usha-Ma, her sons Rahul, Dilip, Binay and Sanjay Shaw, many significant personalities like astrologer Shrimayi Sonai Shastri, actor Sagnik, footballer Sanjoy Maji, social worker Lipika Sen Chatterjee, Councilor Subiman Bose and others were present.
