Visually Impaired Warrior Arpana Banerjee is the on the stage of Didi No. 1

Arpana Banerjee, a name from Durgapur that has become an example for today’s generation. Despite from being visually impaired, ignores all her disabilities and makes herself a force to moves ahead with initiative to make visually impaired boys and girls like her self-reliant. Peace House Welfare Trust an organization she established since 2011 to teach various types of handicrafts to visually impaired boys and girls to become self-reliant and has been showing them the way to earn by selling them in different areas and institutions for last several years. Not only in her own city, but also in different places, she goes to different children’s houses and helping them by teaching in this way. For this work, she was invited by Zee Bangla for Didi No. 1 program last week. Arpana shares her experience of participating in Didi No. 1 program and says that the experience of Zee Bangla has been excellent. Besides, Rachna Banerjee is known to like her very much. Rachna Banerjee also congrats Arpana and encouraged her for doing such great works, which Arpana says is a great achievement for her. She wants to train her children in this way so that her visually impaired siblings also get the proximity of many big people, she still has to walk a long way to win. After watching this programme, Arpana received congratulatory messages from many people from home and abroad and the Andal family also invited to felicitate her.
